Wildcat Village is a newly constructed residential facility. These dorms are located on the south end of campus. The slideshow above and the captioned photo gallery below give you a preview of the residential facilities you will be staying in while at the WSDI. Simply click any of the photos to scroll through.
Each suite sleeps four students in two bedrooms. Each suite also provides its own bathroom with a double vanity, toilet and shower all separated and completely private to maximize use. Suites are air conditioned and come with ethernet/wifi and cable TV connections. As part of your stay, you will be provided with internet access. Linens will be provided.
In addition the camp's own Residential Dean of Students, Weber State University Housing also provides 24 hour on-call staff, which residents can reach by calling (801) 626-7275. Wildcat Village is a well lit and secured residential facility. Students can only gain entrance into their dorm or their wing by swiping their card and each sleeping room is keyed with a lock for privacy.
Each residential wing has a living room recreational common area with large screen TV and full kitchen, where students can store and prepare food. The camp already provides lunch and dinner, but students are encouraged to bring some convenient breakfast food and snacks to have handy. The dorm is closely situated to a 7-11 and CVS pharmacy, as well as other food vendors.
Catered lunches and dinners are included in the tuition and provided by Sodexho, the university's professional catering service. They are happy to cater to special dietary needs whether that be because a student is vegan or allergic to any particular ingredient. Please be sure to list any dietary concerns on your application or email us directly, especially if you have concerns over any dietary sensitivity. We take those issues seriously.
Because of the additional cost associated with gluten free ingredients, Sodexho imposes a surcharge. For 2 week students, it totals $100 and for 3 week students it totals $150. This ensures that food is all prepared separately with GF ingredients to prevent any cross contamination.
